Pick up a shovel and plant some trees! Coastal Roots Farm’s first ever Food Forest Festival! Plant an edible forest in the heart of Encinitas in honor of Tu B’Shevat. Plant trees with farmers and learn about ancient agricultural farming practices, tree propagation, Tu B’Shevat learnings, and more. Groove to a live performance by Darshan at lunchtime and during sunset!
Participants should be prepared to get their hands dirty! The day will include digging, lifting, and bending, for 1-3 hours. While there will not be children’s programming at this event, children are welcome and must be supervised at all times.

אם אתם אוהבים לקרוא ספרות עברית ונוהגים לשוחח על ספרים שקראתם, הצטרפו אלינו .חברי המועדון נפגשים פעם בחודשיים בימי שלישי בשעה 7:30 לדון בספר אותו בחרו יחדיו. הפגישות מתקיימות בבתים פרטיים והשיחות מתנהלות בעברית. מיקום יקבע בהמשך.
ספרייה עברית: במשרדי התרבותון באנסיניטס יש לכם ספרים בעברית לתרומה? נשמח לקבל אותם. ספרים קריאה ועיון בעברית, אך לא ספרי תפילה בבקשה. אנו פותחים במשרד שלנו ספרייה והנכם מוזמנים לבקר, לשבת לקרוא ואף לשאול ספרים. התרבותון יתרום לספרייה הציבורית על סניפיה השונים העתקים נוספים של ספרים שכבר קיימים באוסף.

ARTZENU for teens focuses on Israeli past and current culture and history enriching and strengthening teen connection to Israel. For 8th-12th graders and open to Hebrew and English speakers. Check us out for a movie or presentation and occasional guest speaker.
