Cook/bake, hands on, gather some fresh ingredients from the Farm, meet some new friends and enjoy some Israeli culture over tea with Nana or your choice of Coffees. Drop in, stay as long as you’d like. These are informal.

This Month: Shishi on the Farm: Iraqi theme and Pesach, Iraqi theme Kuba beril & Kuba Aduma these two recipes are a staple in the Jewish Iraqi home, and are perfect for Passover.

Come learn with us how to make vegetarian versions of these two unique dishes that symbolize the food culture of the oldest Jewish community in the world.

Israeli Post Doc Connections, sponsored by BioAbroad and Tarbuton. These meetings of San Diego’s post doc community are organized as a part of the San Diego Israel Collaborative for Young Adults. The group will meet on a recurring basis to provide a social and proffesional network for Post Docs in San Diego along with workshops and more.

Preview the trailers from the two Oscar Nominated Israeli Films for 2015 – Aya and Summer Vacation, and several trailers of Israeli films in this year’s Jewish Film Festival. There will be Nishnishim (snacks) and tea/coffee.

Our Moadon generally watches full length films, but we want to leave time in this first meeting of the North County Israeli Culture Group for Israeli & Jewish Americans (40+) to obtain feedback and plan future meetings too. This group will meet in Encinitas. tentatively on Sunday mornings to accommodate working and non working adults. Please join us and invite friends: English and Hebrew speakers are welcome.
