Machaneh Kachol Lavan
Launched by the IAC (Israeli-American Council) this camp is run in CA and in NY for Hebrew speakers. An overnight camp for several weeks, the Machaneh offers outdoor sports, water activities, and more. Machane Kachol-Lavan provides a solid ground for integrating second generation Israeli-American children, ages 8-15, through engagement using high quality activities about Israel, Judaism, Leadership, Tsofiut, the Arts, Sports and General Knowledge. Machane Kachol-Lavan is a program of the Israeli-American Council (IAC) in partnership with the Jewish Agency For Israel (JAFI). If you’re on the East coast, check out this new in 2013 summer camp – all summer – in Hebrew – for K-5 in NY run by Israeliness in collaboration with Bereisheet after school program. They’re going to have an amazing summer. These programs are designed for Israeli-Americans, Hebrew speakers.
Habonim Dror – North America
Habonim has local youth group activities in what they call “Ken” programs and also offers seminars in multiple cities bringing kids together for Jewish & Israel Education and weaving Hebrew in the mix.
