One hour of Hebrew a week is not enough.  Families who sign up for after school enrichment whether in Jewish or secular programs typically make choices out of convenience.

If the kids learn early ,we can add Hebrew after school on middle school campuses and as an elective in our High Schools (7 in Chicago do!).

We need to help students fit Modern Hebrew into their lives with a variety of ways to learn that are fun getting them comfortable and proficient quickly.
