Sam Litvin
JRAST
Sam Litvin is an engineer currently pursuing an MBA at IDC Herzilya in Israel. Sam brought his entrepreneurial self to the Jewish Community Hackathon in 2017 to further develop an idea he had to help college students.
Concerned about the increasing prevalence of anti-Semitism in California’s publicly-funded universities, and realizing the full impact on Jewish students was largely unknown due to a lack of data measuring hate speech, physical and/or verbal abuse, and bias harassment, Sam decided to do something about it. The end result JRAST is a centralized system for reporting incidents, an app to report incidents and education for student’s use of it, and a database that can be used to better understand and support students on California campuses.
