Aviva Angel
Aviva Angel is a corporate executive who moved to San Diego from NYC. She is the founder of Urban Kibbutz, a Jewish intentional community in San Diego. Aviva brings her passion for the community and Jewish life to her work. Living together, the community will be comprised of about 30 residential units, with shared common areas. The community will enjoy communal dinner nightly and celebrate Jewish holidays and customs together.

Is there More? Aviva is a Board member of Ohr Shalom Synagogue. Aviva partners with Moishe House for planning and outreach and OneTable for Shabbat dinners.

Lillian Elbaz
Lillian Elbaz is an Israeli dance teacher, a dancer, and a STOTT Pilates instructor. She has a teaching certificate (K-12) in Dance-Theatre.
Lillian brings her passion for dance and community building to TNUA a K-9th grade Jewish & Israeli Dance Troupe that performs in Israeli holidays and related events year round, including Israel Fest / Yom Ha’atzmaut Celebrations, House of Israel Lawn Event and more.

Is There More? Yes, Lillian teaches dance classes, theater classes, dance camps throughout the Jewish community and brings in Israeli children’s shows. Lillian was also the recipient of a Tarbuton Jewish educator award in 2017. The award celebrated her work as a Jewish educator across more than 5 Jewish institutions & her work as a Jewish independent innovator for her TNUA programs which included both dance programs and a Jewish themed summer camp.

We started a tradition and Jewish circle of friends at Bira v’Nashira at a local Israeli restaurant with an incredible evening September, 2017. Over 120 community members in a sold out program met that evening, sang, danced, ate and drank with friends.
