Ellen Fox & Glenda Sacks Jaffe
Ellen Fox is the religious school Director at Temple Solel for 30 years and Glenda Sacks Jaffe, is USD’s Hillel Director. Both are passionate about Israeli dancing, music and Hebrew. Together they offer Cafe v’Ivrit a community that meets weekly on Fridays to converse in Hebrew.
The pace of conversation is slower than you might find in a group of Israelis, but the group speaks primarily in Hebrew so it’s a great place to be if you’re trying to use the skills you have. Some Israeli adults participate too.
