Study & Teen Trips in Israel

GENERAL PROGRAMS – NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL

1. Alexander Muss High School in Israel
An 8-week program fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The program offers full high-school and college credit and well as 16 trips within Israel. 2. BBYO Passport: Israel
BBYO trips are available to members and non-members. The trips embrace pluralistic Jewish values and designed for any Jewish Teen regardless of affiliation. BBYO offers teen trips to various destinations worldwide including trips to Israel and trips that combine Israel and other destinations. Trip lengths range from 15-42 days. INFO@BBYOPASSPORT.ORG

3. Naale Elite Academy Free three- year high school program
Spend 10-12th grade in Israel in a free program that covers all costs including airfare and even provides you with pocket money. Motivated and mature young men and women who are entering the 10th grade (ages of 14 years and 9 months and 16 years and 6 months) may apply. Graduates receive an Israeli Matriculation (Bagrut) that is equivalent to a high school diploma and recognized by top universities and colleges.

4. NFTY in Israel
NFTY is the youth group of the Union for Reform Judaism. NFTY offer summer programs in Israel as well as summer programs that combine Israel and Europe. NFTY also offer a program for teens with special needs. NFTY’s high school program EIE combines touring Israel, the experience of living on a Kibbutz and earning high school credit. Trip lengths range from 4-6.5 weeks.

5. USY Summer Programs
United Synagogue Youth (USY) is a youth group based on conservative ideology. USY offers a variety of summer programs in Israel as well as programs that combine Israel and Eastern Europe, Poland or Italy. USY programs may include Gadna week, a week of Israeli military simulation and various community service options.

6. Young Judea Summer Programs
Young Judea is the Zionist youth group of Hadassah. Young Judea offer 4.5 week summer programs that can include a special interest week that is tailored to the individual participant. Young Judea also offers a subsidized 4-week trip that focuses on Israel Advocacy, public speaking and peer leadership.

7. Ramah Programs in Israel
Ramah is the camping arm of Conservative Judaism. Rama offers fully accredited high school programs in Jerusalem: a full spring semester and a two month program. Rama also offers six-week summer programs with daily themes that focus on a particular aspect of Israeli society. The program also includes a challenging military simulation week. There is also an option of adding a Poland trip prior to the Israel Trip.

8. NCSY Summer Programs 
NCSY is a youth organization affiliated with Orthodox Judaism but their programs are open to any Jewish teen regardless of affiliation. NCSY offers coed as well as boy-only and girl-only programs. NCSY offers programs with a variety of focuses including: Torah study, volunteering, leadership and sports. NCSY also offers a trip that combines Spain, Gibraltar and Israel.

9. Chetz v’Keshet for Israeli-Americans
The only teen summer program run in conjunction with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), with behind the scenes look at the Israeli Army, an in-depth look at military history, a tailor-made Gadna experience, incredible safety and logistics, and IDF soldiers as counselors. Israeli Counselors and peers; a quarter of all CVK participants are Israeli teens.  Select from volunteer work: one of three Tikkun Olam elective tracks. Hike the Israel National Trail, while taking a role in preserving both the trail and the beaches. Become an active participant in a Kibbutz community by helping in various areas such as agriculture, farming, and kindergarten. Spend time in Tzfat, exploring the spiritual effects of the city’s art and music, while giving back to the surrounding community.
