Youth programs are piloted and strengthened over several years and then spun off to interested nonprofit entrepreneurs or organizations to carry them forward. Tarbuton supports the pilots if needed and new program development through our social venture lab and accelerator program Startup18. We will continue to inspire and support community members who want to continue Tarbuton’s 10 year legacy offering high quality Hebrew, Israeli and innovative Jewish learning in San Diego.
Looking for K-8 Jewish & Dance programs? Check out Startup18 project TNUA which carries on the legacy of the Tarbuton dance troupe and Jewish/Israeli dance enrichment as well as Jewish/Hebrew summer camps and plays for children from Israel.
Looking for Kesher for Hebrew language Charter Students? This program provides Jewish enrichment on Wednesday half days in Hebrew and is open to Hebrew Language Charter Students and Hebrew speakers. Kesher will continue as an independent project called Kesher Kef under the management of Orli Moses.
